Western Woes
|
As Mesh flees back to their homeland to escape the fury of Enweilian armies, one cannot be wonder how long they'll be able to keep this up for. Upon hearing of Nicolas Chénier's arrival, Hetland's former general, Lunarion, wet his pants and cried for pity, sharing a great amount of most valuable information. While it was of little surprise that he was dealing with a great amount of foreigners, he revealed much of the internal strife within the ranks of western realms, Hetland's very own council plotting against their own subjects even. As that was revealed, so is the impact of continous western defeats and humiliations being felt.
By the looks of it, Glorious Enweil will soon be able to chose when and how it will do what it wants.

The Hordes Are Relentless
|
One can't help but wonder what drives the western hordes. Fleeing the appalling slaughter in Sandlakes, a noble from Sint apparently committed suicide by attacking the border citadel of Fheuvenem, earning a swift death by the local defenders. Quickly routed and disorganized, the western forces dispersed after a day of intense fighting, returning to their capitals to lick their wounds once more.
Many questioned Sint's reason to even be there, for as the world has now seen they have much to lose. In the end, it's just another day for Enweil, another humiliation for the West.

The Hordes Swell
|
Much restructuring has and is occurring within Enweil, which the invaders attempted to exploit by launching a massive attack as never seen before, with more realms than ever and some fresh fighters, including Sint and Kingdom of Alluran who had not before pierced within Enweil lands.
Despite the difficulties and the enemy coming in deeper than ever, Enweilian forces prevailed once more this morning as overwhelming forces swarmed into Sandlakes from Pahk. More battles are expected to occur, and brave Enweilian soldiers are fiercely awaiting them.

Whack-a-Westerner Continues
|
Enweilian forces were caught short-handed when western forces returned so quickly after being chased away, finishing up in Piwani before having to march back to intercept them. While in the short disorganization that followed many would be unsure of how things would turn out, the latest battle in Pahk revealed to us that the glorious game of "Whack-a-Westerner" was indeed going to continue, as the army of Enweilieos drive them off Enweilian turf underhanded.
As elections are coming to an end, a few posts are expected to change hands. Among them is the post of General, for which the incumbent Hunter was not running. With a more structured military hierarchy, we can expect increased efficiency from Enweilian forces to defeat the invaders.

Nothing But Corpses in Sight
|
Enweilian reinforcements arrived in Piwani just in time, and finally the larger armies of Hetland and Heen were defeated once again, many of their leaders wounded or arrested. Piwani being a region once granted to Plergoth by Enweil, Enweilian troops then proceeded to pass through the villages and collect due taxes, promising them eventual return to their glorious homeland.
In but a week, Enweil defeated the whole forces of Mesh, Hetland (twice), and Heen, and even pierced through the border and brought the fight into enemy lands. When asked for comments, the general consensus was that we have an army to be proud of and that we'll have our enemies on their knees in no time.

Hetland Hard-Pressed to Fend Off Enweilian Retaliation
|
To prevent the Hetland forces from running away once more, the Enweilian military command decided to bring the battle to their own turf. Outnumbered and outarmed, the brave Enweilian soldiers marched to Piwani expecting a hard battle, and a hard battle they had. In the glorious onslaught, Enweilian troops pressed forward, many notable personalities being spotted for their inspiring accomplishments and encouraging the attacking forces. In the end, Enweil proved victorious and the coalition forces of Heen and Hetland lay in ruins before them. Once again, and as expected, military smarts had defeated the incoming hordes, opening the door for further retaliation against the enemy.
The losses only angering Enweilians and making them stronger, one wonders if Hetland wouldn't have been wiser to simply let us by and run away as they usually do.

More Walking Corpses at the Borders
|
The western hordes have returned, Hetland forces poking their heads out of their fortifications once more along with their tree-loving desert-dwelling friends. It has been theorized that the western forces are in fact animated corpses, as the moment they enter the sacred Motherland they all seem to drop dead with but a push.
The Barbarian Hordes are invading but it isn't Rome that's burning. My hat is tipped for the brave Fronenite soldiers of the North, who seem to be plagued by the same nuisance as we are.

Enemies in Retreat
|
Four days ago Mesh ordered an attack on Pahk, with significant Hetland forces nearby. Things looked bleak for Enweilian forces who were scattered and suffered from marshal shuffling, but they marched bravely to fend off the threat despite incoming reports of overwhelming incomings. Mesh sent their archers ahead to fight, and Marshal Demonic's forces quickly charged and routed them. When the remnant of Mesh's armies arrive, so did Marshal Nicolas', and with the armies finally becoming properly organized Enweilian forces dealt a crippling blow to the westerners while suffering minimal losses. This not being the first time Enweilian soldiers bravely defeated larger forces there, and as such Pahk has started to be called the Gorge of Death by some, and the Meshian forces have become once more a laughing stock as Enweilian nobles celebrated the victory.
Quickly thereafter, Enweil mobilized to deal with the Hetland forces that had mobilized, but after the latter committed a suicide attack in Sandlakes, they were nowhere to be seen. With renewed vigor and leadership, the Enweilian military is finally returning to the strength it was at during the victorious Riombaran campaign.

Creation of The Glory of Enweil
|
Today was established The Glory of Enweil, the realm's second newspaper to archive and comment about ongoing events on Beluaterra. It is the founder's (Nicolas Chénier of Fengen) belief that a new Golden Age is at hand for Enweil, and so he created this newspaper to inspire and instill pride among his peers as Enweil crushes the foolish realms of the continent who seek her destruction.
