The Vanimedle's, can directly trace their heritage and origins to the Anglo Saxon Heptarchy of the Stormland's, more specifically a direct link to the Heácásere's that once ruled over the Heptarchy. Though the family name itself has changed on multiple occasions, along with the heraldry associated with it before finally ending up as "Vanimedle'". The location of the family home and estate, has also changed many times  of its family on multiple occasions at the volition of the head of the house; for many decades it was located in the mountainous Toren Stronghold on the South Western Island, presided over the Duke and head of House, Xaphan, the eloquent and vast estates of the family home was lost, along with the great historical records of the family when the South Western Island sank due to divine intervention, because of this it is mostly unknown what transitions took place for the family, and also what names it went under, though the use of the name "Greycloak" still remains in living memory, though it was abandoned several centuries ago for unknown reasons.

The Vanimedle family started of in the northern parts of Darka however none of the members of this family went in Nobility in Darka after Astaroth I . Astaroth I only spent a short while in Darka before retiring. The founder of this family house , despite founding it in Darka was greatly impressed by the city and realm of Batesaor. Xaphan I became a noble in Batesaor until the realm finally fell and became apart of Nighthelm.

The house of Vanimedle is of relation of that of the Early Greycloacks until they retired from nobility and settled down as commoners , The greycloack family had retired entirely after a long history of bad blood and sons. The family house itself was shamed to some extent by the rather infamous history of its relatives. After the Greycloacks declined from higher society after a space of time Astaroth I and his wife and there 3 children seperated themselfs from the greycloacks forming a indivigual and seperate family which quickly rose to wealth and nobility.

Vanimedle Family
