Current News Ardmore Liberated September 29th 2006 This evening the local council has risen up against the occupiying forces and has re-taken control of Ardmore, declaring thier alligence to Luz De Bia. The liberating forces spent the last four days in the welcoming homes of the peasents of Ardmore. They were cheered every day and with every step they took. Lets hope that Riombara and their Fronen Mercinaries will leave these inocent peasents alone in the future. --Article written by Sam Bye Bye Fronen! Hello Ardmore! September 26th 2006 This morning, three realms took to the field in what was to become and almighy clash of arms not seen for some time. Luz de Bia, with a fresh army straight from Grekh along with the hardend veterans of the Irombro campaign launch an assault upon the region of Ardmore. The defending force consited of Fronen mercenaries and Riombara troops. Well that battle was indeed a sucess as the courageous troops from Luz attacked the Allied line, with half of the force breaking through the front line as the Fronen troops fled at the sight of the well fed and rested men of Luz. This meant that the Riombara Army was cut in two and attacked from both front and rear, with their troops putting up a gallent but point less fight...some men even knew about this and fled the sceen. The battle opnly lasting 3 hours and with a total casulty number of 917 attackers out of 1823 soldiers of all arms. Compared to the Riombara casulty list of 1123 out of 1425. It is regretful to say that many wifes and children are with out husbands and sons today. Following on from the battle in Ardmore, Luz De Bia soldiers imediatly started to liberate the land, with the peasents cheering the liberating forces. --Article written by Sam Ardmore Lost September 24th 2006 News has reached our ears that Ardmore has been lost to Riombara. They have taken over the local council and killed all that resisted. Fortunatly the aggresion was only towards the civil leaders and not the peasents. The force that marched into Ardmore 5 days ago, have been sitting in the region, with a small force of Fronen taking a sight-seeing trip to Ruffiello. Also in the news, Luz De Bia forces have pulled out of Irombro, the troops involved need a good rest after the campaign they have just endured. We will return, we are only going to have a beer and will be back once we swat the fly hanging around. --Article written by Sam Defeat In Ardmore September 19th 2006 Today, we are affraid to admitt that we have been defeated in Ardmore. The joint forces of Riombara and Fronen attacked our Forces in the region. The forces we fairly evenly matched in Cs but the more infantry heavy force of the Allied realms prevailed. They then started a Hostile TO of the region they want to reclaim. Obviously they dont care for the peasents that they claim to be their property. --Article written by Sam Irombrozia and Luz de Bia on the Same Side? September 19th 2006 Thats right Ladies and gentlemen. In light of the claims form Irombrozia that we are just imperialists and that we want to destroy Irombrozia, we came to their aid today. A small force had noticed that a undead horde had moved from Cagamir had moved in to the vunerable region. The Irombrozia army, to busy hiding to defend their own regions, was no where in sight, so the Luz Soldeirs refused to move from the region until the Undead had been cleared. The peasent milita and the Luz Soldiers faught side by side against a common enemy. --Article written by Sam Stop the Peasants Suffering September 19th 2006 In reply to the FST, we at the Luz de Bia Chronicles, have came up with a responce. They said that we have killed 12,000 citizens of Irombrozia, our answer to this is give up. If you dont want your peasents to suffer why continue to fight? They will be better off with peace than with war. Also we here in Luz are not heartless, we have out of our own purses, have paid for the replacement food that has been unforunatly destroyed in the ensuing conflict. It is currently sitting in Cagamir, ready to be shipped into the city as soon as hostilities have ceased. --Article written by Sam What's that coming over the hill...It's Fronen! September 19th 2006 Last night an observant scout reported that he had seen the banners of the vanguard for the army of Fronen coming into view in the region of Avengmil. Now early this morning they have arrived in force. Some 14 TL's have made it all the way down to Us here in the south, with out gettign lost. I think that is an achivement in itself. Well done Fronen! Now do you think you can do the same but backwards? Becasue you will be doing it later in the day! After weeks of waiting and preparing our forces are looking forward to the battle that is about to come. --Article written by Sam Some Truth For Once September 18th 2006 It seems the Free south Timnes liek to say that we (Luz) are the evil imperialist's, and that they (Iromobrozia) are the victims in all this war. There is a little bit of confusion here. As it is the other way around. They decalred war on us. Now can you explain that? A small little realm declares war on a big realm. I know what they were trying to do. They wanted to do a hit and run campaign to take our regions while we were fighting Riombara! Oh and about the Looting, Rape etc. We are only repayiong the favor. They Looted the region of Rii many times and we did nothing! They also hold claim to The regions of Rueffilo, Cagamir and Ardmore. It didnt belong to Irombrozia when they secedeed. Infact it actually an unresolved claim of Riombara. Oh and about this milita that we destroyed, they went old men and boys. They were soldiers and they do more than you do, my "noble" friends. At least they stand and fight unlike you hiding in your secret bunker, while the real men fight and die! --Article written by Sam A Second War Declared September 18th 2006 Yesterday Word came into our office that the Free South times, has slated our newspaper. They claim that our stories are made up. That has made it war between our two Newspapers. Readers prepare yourselves for an intense barrage of lies and insults coming our way from those "Hero's" Hiding in a bunker somewhere! --Article written by Sam Milita Mopped Up! September 17th 2006 Today as the sun set on the fields of Bolkenia forces from Luz de Bia cleared the way to the great city of Eno. Over 250 men stood in their way. 114 brave men straight from the seige of Irombro took to the line along with over 100 archers. They were tired and exhausted after the intense battles that had taken place in Irobmro over the last week. But once again they stood to battle the enemies of Luz de Bia. This is just a show of how loyal the soldiers of Luz are. Willing to take on the enemy at any time. With the men lined up, the soldiers advanced. Luz de Bian banners flying up high. The battle lasted for 2 hours and with many of the defenders being cut down, the surviors fled. The Luz de Bian soldiers marched on toward Eno and their well earned rest. --Article written by Sam The Fake War? September 17, 2006 With forces from Riombara arrayed in Avengmil and those of Luz de Bia in Ardmore it seems that fighting has come to a standstill. Neither side wishes to commit their force against an equaly strengthed oppenent and for good reason too. This goes to show that both military leaders from the realms of Riombara and Luz de Bia are intelligent. This report has seen too many battles where the attacking force is too weak and ends up not only defeated but routed because of inexperienced generals. With Irombrozia continuing in their downward spiral to defeat the promise of an equally intelligent and stratgist as an opponent brings joy to those who lust for a good battle and fear to those who wish only to live in peace. As the end draw nears for Irombrozia the future war with Riombara looks difficult indeed. Taking the time to have a small chat with Sir Rah, our realm's Minister of Defense and Marshal of the army of Jidington, he answered a couple of question before he had to leave to issue orders, talk to diplomats bringing messages from other realms and the like. Here's what I got in before he took his leave: With Riombara only having one region in which we can attack from, that being Avengmil, what do you think will happen in the coming weeks of war with them? Well, I believe the stand-off will continue unless Riombara chooses to attack us as they have done unsuccessfully in the recent past. They chose to attack us immediately after Luz had suffered a loss in Irombro, at a time when their ruler was asking for an end to the war with us. Very sneaky if I must say so. But fortunately we had suitable defenses in place in Ardmore and Riombara suffered defeat there. With the small military power of Irombrozia no longer a threat due to their small realm size how long do you predict it will take to finish them off, let it be through TOing their last two regions or purhaps through more of a political deal? There is no political deal. From what I can tell, they declared the war and that too just before they attacked and captured our banker, Lord Gorian making false charges that he wanted to capture their queen, even though he was a trader and was only transferring food from Cagamir to Bolkenia. When the Irombrozia threat is gone what will be our goals for the realm other then the war with Riombara? Other than the war with Riombara, we will be helping our allies should they require our aid and more importantly, we will also be devoting significant effort for the betterment of the people and the common folks. But this must not be taken as set in stone for plans change and in wars, they change faster than once can formulate them.
