The Sacred Cloak of Dreams was first discovered on the island of Beluaterra in the realm of Melhed, by one Lady Cypreana Rossini. It is a long heavy cloak with a hood made of strands of silver and light blue which shimmer in the icy regions of the north. On the back of it is a face of a lady, appear out of what seems to be a mist. | |||
This cloak gives the owner visions through their dreams of how they can better themselves and the world in which they live. The positive side of this is that they are given strength and purpose to strive for change that is good. The negative side is that they can become frustrated and at times almost insane in their quest for that vision. | |||
Lady Cypreana's first response to this cloak was when as Consuela of Melhed she changed the form of government in the middle of an election in order to "wake up the Senate". This action made her very ill, and some people did indeed think she was mad for it. | |||
Her next response, and the latest to date, was to lead a rebellion against the Senate of Melhed and institute a Monarchy with her as "Empress". She was successful in her endeavors and at the time of writing this missive is in the throws of rebuilding the country. | |||
