The Medals
During one of the hardest episodes of Heen's history the government has decided to rewards its nobles for their extraordinary services. Medals were soon mold by capable blacksmiths, and finally three types of medals were brought to existance:
The Desert Scimitar - Rewarding Heen's elite for extraordinary and exceptional courage. The noble wearing this medal has shown to be prepared to fight against all odds, to undertake dangerous campaigns into unknown territory, to undertake an exceptional achievement in battle(s) or to show any extraordinary form of courage in his actions. |
The Desert Cross - Granted to Heen's finest nobles for continuous and unwavering effort and support to the realm. These nobles are known for continuous bureaucratic achievement even in the most dangerous of circumstances, making personal/family investments, conducting police/civil work out of the ordinary expectation or plainly supporting the realm in times of need with all means possible. |
The Desert Rose - Only few of Heen's nobles have been honored with the medal of the Desert Rose. What defines these nobles is a love for its own country that lies far beyond the ordinary terms, cultural intrigue, an interest in all things that defines its country besides war, politics, diplomacy and bureaucracy or awarded to those who die in loving service for their realm. |
The Procedure
