Mother of All Elves

Aerosa, the Divine Mother, is the life-bringer and nurturer of all beings in the world. It was her divine touch that blessed the great tree, Iniarbel, breathing life into it so that the world might be filled with her creations. From this sacred tree came her first children, the elves, who flourished under her guidance and protection. To honor their mother, the elves choose the greatest of their warriors to serve as the eternal guardians of Slimbar, the hallowed resting place of Aerosa on earth.

Elven belief holds that when their lives come to an end, their spirits ascend to Aerosa's celestial domain, known as the Emerald Halls. There, they join their mother in her eternal dream, finding peace and unity in her presence.

Aerosa also bore four daughters, each born from the radiant fruits of Iniarbel. These daughters were entrusted with the care of the forest and its children, the elves. Each daughter governs a season, and across the world, they are revered as the goddesses of the four seasons. Known by different names in different lands, they are worshipped for their gifts: the renewal of spring, the warmth of summer, the harvest of autumn, and the quiet rest of winter.

Each season, the daughters guide the cycle of life, reflecting their mother’s nurturing spirit and maintaining the delicate balance of nature in the world Aerosa once filled with life.

The Emerald Halls

The Emerald Halls are the final destination of all elves, a place where every soul of elvenkind will eventually arrive. It is both the cradle and the grave of the elven race, an ethereal sanctuary where life and death intertwine in harmony. Within the halls, the air is always filled with melodies—songs and music played by the caretakers to bring comfort and joy to the children of the Divine Mother, Aerosa.

The Emerald Halls are the closest of all celestial realms to the mortal world, located in the lowest level of the sky, just beyond the sacred veil. From this divine vantage point, the ancestors of the elves watch over their living descendants, offering their blessings and guidance. The Halls are a place of eternal peace, where the spirits of the departed dwell in the presence of Aerosa, forever bathed in her love and light.
