It is rumored that this Belt of Piety was worn by a faithful Bannerman of one of the The Lieutenants of Hemaglobe. The Bannerman lost his life during a battle many years ago but his dedication and sense of devotion is said have merged into the belt that he wore. The factual truth doesn't matter so much, it is the symbol of piety to Hemaism that drives the sense of awe that the belt inspires in others. It's ties to Hemaism are unproven and shaky at best but that doesn't stop the faithful from seeking this item out.
