Tempest Family

Family History

The early history of this family is unknown. They were shipwrecked and came ashore on the coast of western Oritolon on a piece of driftwood. The family took the name Tempest in memory of their salvation from the storm that had almost killed them. The family worked hard, and eventually built up a small fleet of ships, eventually becoming well known for their skill in the trading of seal fur.

The family helped a local lord quell a rebellion by transporting his men in their boats, allowing him the element of surprise. In return the family were granted modest lands and titles.

Sangi Tempest

Disillusioned by her family's insistence that girls should know their place and seek advancement through marriage, Sangi left home to prove she was just as good as her soldier brothers.

Sangi left Oritolon, where she had served as a Knight, because she had become outraged with the corruption at the heart of the realm she had once loved. She travelled to Darka to seek atonement for her part in the tragic death of her beloved Godmother Erisha Da Hadez.

Refusing to conform to the feminine ideals Sangi is a brave and dedicated warrior who's quick temper and furious rage on and off the battlefield may yet lead her to glory or destruction.

Amill Tempest

Not much is known of Amill other than she is a cousin of Sangi's who had been with the family since they were washed ashore. Amill is known to be a skilled woodsman.
