The Emerald Studed Longsword of Dom was a wedding gift from Count Orlaf of Bastionburg to his son Dusricht many years ago.  The sword won much aclaim in its day and was a family heirloom passed from farther to son many times.  However, Bastionburg was gripped by a turnip famine and its economy crashed.  Gabiatt the 52nd Count of Bastionburg sold the sword to pay rent on his properties during the crisis and the sword dissapeared until now.
