Message sent to: Valgar. Just a little something written on a whim to the Cathayan General, encamped just outside the Arcaean castle of Talex.
- Whence do th'doves fly when war calls on their door?
- Does she quiver and fly into the sky, in courage being poor,
- or does she march with unsteady wings in a shell of steel
- professing valour and honour that is not real.
- The clarion, the drums, the glorious cries and the shuddering awe,
- marred by the steel and the screams of the hate and gore.
- Now fight the dove in her shining armour and shining shields agaisnt those tested and true,
- 'Gainst the phoenix of Arcaea. Then the victory. Shall it be me, or shall it be you?
- Aerywyn Haerthorne
- Lord Protector of Arcaea
