The Duel Between a Former King and a Confident Marshal
During the time of expansion to the rogue lands, Marshal Zile of the Crimson Blade was challenged by Samuel, the Ruler of Myern, recently removed from his throne, to a duel in Giask. The fierce fight resulted in the defeat of the Marshal, as King Samuel wounded him rather seriously. At the time this incident created quite a lot of discussion and controversy. The founding of Path of the Sword & The Tournament of Askileon
To display the rich and diverse culture of a noble warrior, High Treasurer Proslyn founded a guild by the name of "Path of the Sword". The first modest Hall of the Swords was constructed in Askileon, where a tournament of swordfighting was held to celebrate the newly founded guild. Lord Loathin, a well known and respected Lurian noble, won the tournament in a tight match against a new noble in Lurian circles, Sir Keiji. The guild gained new members rapidly after its founding.
