-During the time of expansion to the rogue lands, Marshal Zile of the Crimson Blade was challenged by Samuel, the Ruler of Myern, recently removed from his throne, to a duel in Giask. The fierce fight resulted in the defeat of the Marshal, as King Samuel wounded him rather seriously. At the time this incident created quite a lot of discussion and controversy. The reasons behind the duel are not, to this day, entirely clear.
