When her father died, she was the sole heir to Dyzig. Despite her young age, she proved an energetic leader, earning her the love of her people. However, Adela's aunt was married to the ambitious Lucas D Luffy, who arranged her marriage to Reynold of Brennaford. This forced her to give up Dyzig in favor of a cousin, but she did so willingly and became a great asset to her husband, who was away a lot on military campaigns.

Adela died when giving birth to her fourth child, Egbert.
