Reynold the Boar caused a massive schandal in Sabadell when he married the commoner Liutgard, the sister of his best friend Gerulf the Wise. Things quieted down when Liutgard's father, Gerulf the Galadian, told he was the grandson of Dilim. Thus, since Liutgard shared the same blood as Reynold, questioning her nobility would be the same as questioning Reynold's. Although Gerulf never told whether Dilim was his paternal or maternal grandfather, this settled the question.
