Unfortunately, the Sanguine Times has seen much reduced activity in the last year. New editors are dearly needed, and any who wishes to try his hand is welcome to contact the current editors to offer their help.
Positions available:
War Correspondent
Description: Will be responsible for analyzing battle reports involving Astroist theocracies
Requirements: Must have battle experience, experience as Marshal preferred but not necessary
Religion Correspondent
Description: Will be responsible for analyzing scriptures and providing updates on Church affairs
Requirements: Must be an Astroist priest
Political Correspondent
Description: Will provide coverage of theocratic elections and political debates
Requirements: Must have experience with referendums, no specific prerequisites
The Ento-Morekian War
The war originated with Lady Allison's split, with the Aegir duchy, from the rest of the Morek Empire. The split, mainly caused by political tensions over a new colonial effort into the Flow Peninsula (which was vacated by the demise of Aquilegia), separated the Muspelheim duchy from the rest of the Morek Empire. Negotiations immediately began for the handover of Croton, which stands between the Muspelheim duchy and the Dongheiwei duchy. Lady Allison requested a trade of Cailyn for Croton, a request that was answered by war.
Since the start of the war, Nihdogg's Mark and Nimh have switched their allegiance over to the Morek Empire. Additionally, Croton has recently been retaken by military action.
War Declared!
Caerwyn and Madina have declared war on Morek and the federation between Caerwyn and Astrum has been broken. Recently, Corsanctum has declared war on both Caerwyn and Madina. A costly religious war is beginning to look more likely. Updates will continue with new developments.
