Former Fronenian Fights Felmoure off Fwuvoghoran Throne        4th November 2007

This morning, Fwuvoghor's government has gone through another radical change. That state is known for using rebellion to flip-flop between moderate and radical governments. Until today, Felmoure was King of Fwuvoghor, and he was known as an opponent of JeanOlivier, Chief Justice of that country. JeanOlivier, widely considered to be mad by his peers proved today that he has strong domestic support. After Felmoure stripped him of all titles including nobility, JeanOlivier began a rebellion and has succeeded. This is bad news for the Republic of Fronen as JeanOlivier was a well-known Monarchist during Black January.

Judges in Jail, Daimon in Dungeon 14th November 2007

In the past week, the Republic of Fronen has seen three different Grand Justiciars. I was the first. I was seized by Daimons while I traveled to Wudenkin. In what the Daimonic Dungeon I was forced into a cell next to one holding dirty peasants! In fact, the dirty peasants were blasphemous and heretical! Not a one accepted the Great Dragon and one even slandered and criticized the rule of the nobility. Of course the Dreadlords did nothing Oh how I wished to burn the cretin on a stake. Well anyway, days later the replacement Justice, Lord Reyes was also imprisoned mirroring what occured last month. Trumpet, Duke of Fronpu was elected Judge after Reyes receiving only four votes. He stepped down shortly after and I was reelected. A little crazy right?

Well it gets better, Dreadlord Invisible of the Netherworld chose not to send waves of Daimonic troops to attack the Prime Minsiter, instead he chose to serve as an assassin himself. OF course Daimons are massive, ugly things whoa re hard to miss. Grego's bodyguards managed to detain and capture the Daimon. Now in the FNP I plan to show the beast a little Fronenian hospitality. Maybe even take a unique item back (my wondrous ring was seized by my Daimonic captors. I plan on replacing it!) Provided the beast doesn't escape, this capture will help Fronen a great deal.

House of Lords Dismantled, Telaph Appointed High Post, etc 14th November 2007

Assorted updates for you all. First, somewhat recent Avalonian immigrant, Sir Telaph Arnel has been chosen by Defense Minister Tiridius the Guardian. This crucial post gives the general command over all of Fronen's armies. His orders are to be followed unless they are overruled by Minister Tiridius. So, Congratulations to Telaph!

Second, the Fronenian government has had a few minor reforms. First, the Department of Bureacracy has been remade after being replaced by the army "Homeland Security." The House of Lords and House of War have both been dismantled. Now Fronen has two Councils (Strategy and Diplomacy) and two Departments (Bureaucracy and Intelligence). Each new ruling body differs slightly from its predecessor. The Diplomacy Council replaced the House of Lords. The new council is more focused on International relations and membership is given to almost any who wish to join (provided the Prime Minister approves it). The Strategy Council replaces the House of War. This new council is more focused on war and its membership is more limited. Only Generals and Marshals can join, as opposed to the House of War where even those with little to do with the Military (myself for instance) were allowed membership. The Dept of Intelligence has not changed. Last, the Department of Bureaucracy replaces the army, Homeland Security which was ineffective because it contained knights and administrators. The new group will be more focused.

Prime Minister Grego believes these reforms will help make the Fronenian government more effective.

Elections, Daimons, etc. 4th November 2007

Well, I've been out for a while, busy on business, and my co-editors couldn't possibly start the new issue themselves! That would be pretty crazy wouldn't it... Anyway, Grego and I won our re-elecitons wihout much competition. Daimons have caused a few of the Southern Fronenian regions to revolt. We're still clinging to Wudenkin, miraculously, but we've lost Sheja and Vale. The peasants managed to free Qual and Jedinchal, but Sheja and Vale are gone. Melhed is still holding Mhed for the time being. Oh, and our talented Defense Minister Tiridius will be stepping down from his office as soon as a suitable replacement is found.
