The most one-sided battle in Far East history?

Yesterday we saw the long anticipated invasion of the capital city of the League of Anacan. However in a surprising turn of events, the invasion was enacted by a total of 6 realms, who attacked simultaneously, in a battle which would have to be the largest in Far East history.

Some 28,000 CS, over 2000 soldiers of the realms of Antoza Commonwealth, Grand Lodge of Lunaria, Nighthelm, Sanctum of Casshern, Soliferum and Svunnetland, assaulted the meagre 11,000 CS, some 1000 men, defending the fortress walls of the city of Anacan. Casualties on both sides were ridiculously high, but after many hours of fighting, the defending troops were either killed or wounded, and the combined southern armies raised the flags of their realms high above the battlements.

Could this spell the end for the League? Only time will tell, but if this battle is an indicator of battles to come, then there are many more brave and impetuous nobles and their troops who will fall before this war is done...

A speight of executions

In a recent speight of executions, the Grand Justiciar of Lasanar has brought end to the lives of two nobles, former Lasanarians who become chief rebels and protagonists in the Lasanarian civil war. If some will not remember, a month or two ago, the realm of Miraglonn was seceeded from Lasanar by the rogue Duchess Menelmereth. This secession was followed by another, in the city of Ossaet, to form the theocracy of Ardh Osai.

In recent weeks, the realm of Miraglonn was destroyed by the combined armies of Lasanar and Ethiala, and the city of Coloscan brought back under Lasanarian control. In the process, the Queen (and founder of Miraglonn), Lady Menelmereth was captured and subsequently executed. This is a fate which Ardh Osai has shared, with its founder and Pontifex Rekoi also being captured and executed in the process of Ardh Osai's destruction.

However, a surprise event was the execution of Dyre, a member of the famed (and infamous) Eiryn family, who was also hung shortly after Rekoi. Further information which can be gathered was that this execution was done without the authorisation of the Lasanarian High Council, or Council of Dukes. Galiard it seems, may have had a personal vendetta against his prisoner, but this is only speculation on the part of the Aenilian. Will bring more news as it comes...
