Emyhr sat proud, his armor polished to a wonderful shine, atop his horse as he patrolled the area. Passing by some of the newly recruited militia, the shouts of the training captain could be heard all around the plains. He waved down the captain as he passed by, climbing down his horse and handing the reigns to one of his personal guard.

"How fares the training? I see that the new recruits are proving their worth."

"M'lord, they may be new and rather unskilled but they shall be brought up to a level worthy of their job, that I can be certain of."

"Good, I am glad to hear that. I shall be increasing your workload in the coming days, we are in need of a large dependable force to assist in the defense."

"M'lord, of course. I shall not let you down."

Emyhr nodded and left him to get back to training, climbing back atop his horse and continuing towards the main gate to his estate. Passing by different groups of people rushing around, bowing to Emyhr as he passed by before returning back to their job. This pleased the lord, continuing his evening patrol.

Passing through the gate, the busyness subsided as those who had been hard at work in the fields returned to their homes for the night. The plains were peaceful, with only the rising of smoke from chimneys disturbing the peace of the night sky. He continued towards one of the few hills in the plains, getting further and further away from the safety of his estate.

Finally reaching the crest of the hill, tying his horse to a nearby tree, he approached the opening between some trees. Before he could reach even the border, pushing a branch to his side to clear a path, his breath still as he caught sight of a mysterious figure within the opening. Sitting on a rock bathed in moonlight was a woman. Her long flowing golden hair, the softness of her face highlighted by the moon. Her rose red lips pursed in concentration as she gently held a book in her hands. Emyhr was motionless, his mind blank as he stared intently at this mysterious woman. A single word came to mind, thinking of nothing else he murmured softly under his breath, "Beautiful."

Emyhr softly approached the woman, wishing not to startle her. He held himself tall, taking a deep breath and began to speak.

"Excuse me ma'am, I wish not to disturb you but I have found myself mesmerized by your beauty. If I may inquire, What is your name?"

Emyhr le Craint is the current head of the le Craint Family. He grew up around his families home in Poryatu under the tutelage of his Grandfather Malcom le Craint and his father, Rawlin. He is the elder brother of Mariana le Craint, who became his main rival during his youth, the two of them fighting often and challenging each other to competitions of strength and intellect. Emyhr was the pride of the family, taking after his father and grandfather in almost every way, it was only natural that he would be the one that would secede his father and take over the mercenary company that the le Craint family operated. This came with the ire of his sister who promptly challenged him to a duel over who would become the head of the family. This resulted in Marianas loss but major injuries on both sides. Emyhr partially lost his eyesight in his right eye while Mariana's leg was left weakened.

Soon after Emyhr took over the mercenary company, the families power became known and was knighted within the realm of Luria Nova for his families service. He served under the banner of Luria Nova for 3 years, during which he was appointed Earl of Nid Tek and Vice-Marshal of Luria's Wrath. (OOC: See further down for more on Emyhr's time in Luria Nova.)

This all came to an end however after tragedy struck. During one of the later attacks on Luria Nova, Emyhr's home and family were killed by monsters using Nid Tek as both a target of slaughter and a movement point for further attacks. After these events, Emyhr moved away from Luria Nova in search of a new purpose. With the guidance and companionship of another knight [Greybrook Family|Solomon Greybrook] the two of them headed north. Their first and only stop north was in Sol. The two of them joined up with other like minded nobles and set out east to establish a presence within the lost western lands.

Description of Emyhr le Craint

Short silver hair, as was common in the Le Craint Family. Emyhr stands at 6ft 2in, His facial hair has started to decline in care, whereas before he was take effort in taking care for his looks, that is not the case any more. His goatee has grown out into a full thick beard, his previously cleanly cut hair now beginning to grow out long down behind his head.

The recent times have not been fair to his health. His face now more scared than before, his right arm now covered in cuts, bites and scratches. Most notably now, he has a large scar stretching from shoulder to lower back. Since the loss of his remaining family at the hands of the monster hordes, he had adopted a rather saddened demeanour. What was once a cheerful man has now been taken by grief. His black armour, rather than being a symbol of refinement and glory, becomes a reflection of the grief he has experienced. His fights became filled with greater ferocity than before, the power of grief and disregard for his own personal safety is proving to be a greater source of power than that of glory and honour.

Luria Nova:

Emyhr's time in Luria nova was short, spending only 3 years of his early life as a knight and half a year as an Earl. However, during this time he experienced a lot while meeting many different people. Emyhr started to make a name for himself while in the main branch of the army. Working to fight back against the hordes, he became recognised as a respectable infantry commander. Through this, he worked with many people, working closely with the Marshal and Vice-Marshal and other knights, he made his name known among them. This came to fruition when he was appointed Vice-marshal of Luria's Wrath under Solomon Greybrook. The two of them working together to coordinate the efforts to repel the hordes. For a time, this worked well. For a time, the coordination of the army was able to repel the monsters, however as financial constraints along with the efforts of retaking lands lost it became a difficult task to manage.

Emyhr was a proud member of Ordo Leonis serving dutifully to uphold the standards and tenants of the order. Emyhr worked hard to bring the order up within society, pushing for votes towards a goal. Working closely with Sir Myr Arnickles Renodin. However, the order slowly collapsed as the funding within regions and loss of regions put pressure on the order. Eventually, the order would cease to exist, however memories of such still survive, with hopes that maybe one day it shall return.

During his time, Emyhr would go on to meet and interact with many different people. His earliest encounter was a hunting trip organised by the then Emperor Aldrakar Renodin. He would have further encounters with the emperor, up until the events of intrigue struck the realm causing a dispute and loss of trust. During this period, Emyhr saw many different Emperors try to claim the throne. Throughout all of this, Emyhr remained loyal to his King Matthew Coffey and his liege Ciarghuala Dubhaine. During his time, Emyhr bared witness to many different Emperors, each with differing popularity and actions. However, most of this would not last a very long time. This added to Emyhr's sense of dissatisfaction towards his current life. The lack of a stable environment added will towards the choice he made when it came to the end of his time in Luria Nova.

However, his peaceful time came to an end. During the last few days within the realm, Emyhr was struck with grief induced madness over the loss of his family. During this time, Emyhr and Solomon Greybrook planned and set off to the north in search of a new purpose.

Sol:

Emyhr's time in Sol had been short. Having originally being a staging point for his expedition north, he remained to assist the realm and meet those who called Sol home. It was through this move that Emyhr met with The Golden Host. Having been planning a journey westward into lands lost to establish a new realm on the remains of Golden Farrow, Emyhr jumped at this idea. Soon after he was introduced, both Solomon Greybrook and Emyhr became well intwined with the other members. Within 10 days of their arrival, preparations for departure were set again. After a couple days at sea, they arrived at the Shores of Golden Farrow.

Bringing Golden Farrow under their flag was a simple task, within two days the city was captured. This was quickly followed by Farrowfield, to which Emyhr called home. From here however, the long task of establishing themselves within the western lands while engaging in diplomacy with other realms whose borders they were near became the priority. Emyhr was more than happy to provide what he could, once again finding himself on the front lines, to be able to set foot in these lost lands was a blessing for the troubled man.

Tol Goldora:

This became Emyhr's second home. The expedition to Golden Farrow had been successful and the succession was completed. After many attempts by rogues to fight the Golden Host off the continent, they were finally given the chance to begin reconstruction. This came with the takeover of Farrowfield and Demyansk, the latter becoming Emyhr's Earldom.

Through all of this, Emyhr and Solomon Greybrook stayed close. Due to their victories and willingness, Solomon was promoted to Stratarch and Emyhr to Marshal of the Golden Host. Emyhr worked hard to reconstruct his new home, beginning the long process of fortification and building up militia to defend his new home.
