Arch Priestess Katherine Yorke:

I know you are busy with affairs in Mansbridge, but something has happened which you need to be informed.

Drustan the Mighty, of Norland, has taken his own life.

These are the events, as they transpired.

Drustan was housed in Cellblock A, Cell C. It wasn't an hour and he had already tried an escape. He nearly got away, but as he neared the end of Hall B, he turned the final corner before the door that leads outside, and apparently slipped on a small puddle of water on the floor. The guards that saw him fall said his head was the first part of his body to hit the stone floor.

He was given immediate medical attention. His head was bleeding from the back, and after the bleeding had stopped, his head was bandaged.

Hours later, he asked the guards if he could see you. As you were not present, I went in his stead. When I approached him, he informed me he wished to fight for the Honored Realm Minas Ithil. I was shocked, but did not trust him.

We took him to Interrogation Room C, and we talked for some time. It was obvious to me that he was in his right mind, and did desire to join our realm. I told him I could not accept his change to our realm, but that I would recommend to that he be accepted into our kingdom.

We uncuffed him, and I decided to house him in Squall II's room, as he was not present in our prison at the time. As we moved up the stairwell, a noise distracted the men that were behind him, and they stopped to turn around. Drustan grabbed the guard to his front right, flung him down the stairs into the two rear guards. As the front left guard turned to restrain Drustan, the Viking grabbed the guard's sword, unsheathed it, and stabbed himself straight through the chest, all in one motion.

He died within the minute.

I apologize for my failures Arch Priestess.

With sorrow, Leonard Head Jailor
