Letter from James Blazeral Harker

I am en route now to a meeting in Aenilia, called by King Jenred of Arcaea, to discuss the forming of a group tentatively called the Feudal Leage of the Far East. There are two primary goals of this league as it stands. First, the civilization of warfare; to wit, the banning of rape and other such dishonorable activities from being ordered or performed. Any nation which performs such a despicable act would feel the pure fury of the League realms.

Second, to provide a better line of communication between realms, in the case we should face another Tony and Conan, or in the unfortunately plausible case that the invasion in Beluaterra is successful, and the demons, monsters, or undead find their way here. Communication between realms was a large problem during the war with Soliferum, and had it been more effective, the war would have ended much sooner. This should alleviate those problems, if all goes well.

I embrace this sense of commitment to honor and mutual defense the island has now, and I hope you all do as well.

James Blazeral Harker
King of Cathay

Letter from Jorvikk Ryngaar

Nobility of the Kingdom,

I listen to news of the Far East moving towards new heights of civilization, the responsibility of Nations as well as independent nobles across the continent is now rectifiable by judgment passed by those who lead the Kingdoms and Realms into a new day, a new dawn, a new era of cooperation and responsibility.

If it would not seem out of place, I would ask, My King, that I be allowed to accompany you to the place of your meeting, though I am sure that the details of your discussion may be somewhat more private.

I am currently in Anacan, though my riders are wary of residing within her walls for too long, perhaps we could speak in private, My King,

For the Kingdom of Cathay,

Jorvikk Ryngaar (Knight of Zarimel)
