The Knights of the Rose
The Knights of the Rose was the long series of incarnations of dreams for Westmoor to have it's own functioning elite army similar to the Red Dragons of Sirion or the PMW of Perdan. Mathros Hagakure founded and currently sponsors this army and created it to replace the Royal Guard of Westmoor. Comprised of a small number of hardened Westmoorians this army is capable of doing more complicated movements without assistance of Westmoor's main army.
The army is particularly ruthless usually taking no prisoners of war and smiting all who oppose the King's will. Victories can be attributed to the knights by freshly cut roses thrown on top of corpses of enemies (or depending on the length of the campaign not so freshly cut).
