Grace Vargas

Origin

Grace Vargas, first to his name, was born a direct descendant of Acron, the Bloody Brother, on his father's side. His mother, a woman of few words and many thoughts, was a quiet witch-woman and healer who met his father when he was delirious with fever from an infected battle wound. He grew up on the quiet country manor that is all that remains of his family's holdings.

Always ambitious and determined to regain his family honor, he left home at the age of sixteen to make his fortune. With the meager gold he was able to gather before his departure and his strong will and charisma, he was able to found a small military force which he named after his personal banner - the Band of the Black Hand.

Career

He recently returned to the realm of Esgalons, where his broken family resides in obscurity, and swore allegiance there to the Cagilan Empire.
