I see you are editing my newspaper's special edition. May I ask why?

And would you PLEASE mark your EIDA edits as minor. You're flooding the recent changes page. [[User:Tariq|Marouane]] 19:10, 10 June 2006 (CEST)

It seems like you're making a few mentor pages.  They should probably be moved to subpages of either your user of character page.  format if you don't know: <nowiki>[[Main page name/Name of new sub-page|text that will show up]]</nowiki>  [[User:Fredrich|Fredrich]] 20:16, 24 November 2006 (CET)

===Sub-Paging===

Basically, all of the pages for your mentor have been written before and put in the manual.  Now, having these mentor lessons is perfectly acceptable, but you need to name them properly so that the Wiki stays organized and we don't have needless duplicate pages.  You can see how big of a deal some people have made over your [[Unit settings]] page.  I can show you how to sub-page properly, but its probably easier to explain it if I do one first as an example.  All I need is the name of your character's page.  If you don't have one, let me know and I'll just use your user page.  [[User:Fredrich|Fredrich]] 01:54, 28 November 2006 (CET)

Your welcome.  And now, to answer your questions, since I have some more free time, and other helpful comments.

*First of all, you can sign your work by putting <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> at the end of you comment.  It will link to your user page as well as showing when you wrote it like this:  [[User:Fredrich|Fredrich]] 21:11, 2 December 2006 (CET)

*Next, the table.  I have ''no'' idea how to import pictures, tables, ect.  Also, the link to any of your characters' pages wouldn't work.  Since no one else is logged-in to your account, the game will block them from loading the page.  (this is to avoid account-hacking)  However, you can make table templates to organise data.  Don't know how to do that?  Then do what I do:  copy someone else's!  The table I put [[Trade Settings|here]] was taken from [[Infiltrator Stats]] and adjusted.  To finish it, you just need to copy the format for each row, then replace the data.  Let me know if you need more help.

*My job.  I agree, it is pretty cool working at a trap shooting range.  I get paid $6.00 and hour to sit in a chair. :-)  Seriously, I don't have a job here on the Wiki.  No one does.  People write articles whenever they want, and, as a community, we help edit, proof-read, or adjust the articles to the proper formats.  If you see something that needs fixed, fix it.  Does an article need more information?  Add it, or put your ideas on the discussion page and see what others think.

*Never ask me a question unless you want a ''long'' answer.  :-)

*Yes, you do seem to be writing your articles correctly.  Normally, the links from chapter 6 should be a sub-page of that sub-page, but this is an exception.  Those pages have not been written yet and could be useful to many other people if it is expanded a bit.  (which means it should '''not''' be a subpage)

*And now I will end with a question.  Why do your pages for an ''Abington'' mentor use examples from ''Perdan''?  [[User:Fredrich|Fredrich]] 21:11, 2 December 2006 (CET)

The link back to your mentor page isn't a big deal, you can leave it there for now.  Once someone else links there or it gets put into the manual, it can be removed.  And yes, before that happens the pages should be expanded.  I would, but none of my characters have been a region lord and I only just started trading.

The disclaimer on your page could work.  However, I think that using the regions in your realm is less confusing to the noobs.  If you don't feel like asking others for the information you need, just make-up some data.  Your students won't know the difference. :-)  [[User:Fredrich|Fredrich]] 02:03, 3 December 2006 (CET)

== Meaningless Copying ==

Please stop copy-pasting game pages into the wiki, this is meaningless, you didn't write any useful things actually. And how come something labelled as the "Studies of Abington" contains things from Perdan? This is a serious mixing between your characters. Please stop. -- [[User:Gsklee|Gsklee]] 06:54, 3 December 2006 (CET)

::for you information it is not for the general use of the pepoel looking at the wiki.  It is for my charters students benifit.  If I had this information when first starting out I would have been better off.

::Also the reson for the different realms on the pages is his brther is a lord in perdan therefore whay he has recived the informatin from his brther I am placing a disclaimer on these pages soon.  If you do not like the pages I am sorry but I have had some great responce from them so far.

:::Does this really help? You should teach the newcomers on how to adapt their characters into the game world and how to climb up the hierarchy. Such teachings is the one thing that can help their characters becoming Lords. Posting the commands a Lord can do to the newcomers outright will not help them getting better by all means.

:::Moreover, there are some functions in the game only available for characters or families fulfilling certain requirements. They are meant to be kept secret from the public knowledge. What's the fun in it if you tell the newcomers everything they can expect as a Lord? You have essentially spoiled them. -- [[User:Gsklee|Gsklee]] 16:55, 3 December 2006 (CET)
