In recognition of his contributions, then [[Ruler|Pontifex]] of [[Alebad]] Eugene II awarded Calvin his first political appointment: [[Rank#Lord|Count]] of [[Colonies/Vir el Mari heights|Vir el Mari heights]]. This office has since been transferred to Calvin's younger sister, [[November Family/Ilsa|Ilsa]].
