It is rumored that Yestin the Bastard lead his men into an ambush because he could not defeat his rival Lolek. All died, but some say that Lolek has survived and is somewhere in t he world.
Why he would not come to his family is the question that most often stops this train of thought. For what could keep a Thunderborn from returning to seek a new war band to avenge those who were lost?
