CURRENT AFFAIRS Peace.....for now October 20th, Earlier today, realms throughout East Island agreed to a temporary peace agreement, marking the end of the Great Wars that has left many parts of the continent in ruins. Whether the realms will obey the conditions set will be watched closely by all, but for now, peace has returned. Please be patient while we work out the details of the treaty. The terms will be made public very soon. -Adrian Prime Minister calls for Gold October 22nd, Handow is trying to raise funds for a tournament celebrating the first time in several years where Sirion is not at war with any nations. We hope that the project is sucessfull and that the Island joins us while we commemorate the glorious occassion! There are nobles that are not in favor of the idea for a number of reasons, but the general public's opinion is positive--and in the mood to celebrate! -Doc Tournament is here! October 24th, After days of anticipation and some debate, the PM finally announced the tournament. Both the sword and joust event will be held and there is a 600 gold reward for the winners of the events, while the second best will receive half that amount. It is certainly a morale boost for an island devastated by years of war.
