Origins In a time before time, there was Chaos. Chaos grew, and became self aware. It went on to forge this planet and mortal beings to populate it. The forces on this planet became unruly so Chaos made the gods to rule over it. All but two of these gods rebelled against their creator and slew Chaos. The two that fought on the side of Chaos were Mephisto, Lord of Hatred and Baal, Lord of Destruction. From the mire of blood and ashes rose Diablo, Lord of Terror. These three were banished to Hell by theer bretheren and all mortals who had sided with them. The mortals became twisted and became demons. The Three swore vengance. The sin war In time the Three Primary evils learned the secrets of the world, and grew in power. The rose up onto the Mortal Plane on the Island of Beluterra long before the realms of modern man started. The few mortals that dwelt there took one side or another and waged the Sin War. Each side had it's champions, and from the side of Hell arose Gassan Himoura who slew an Arch Angel, who wielded the holy blade Arken, with his bare hands. After this amazing feat, Diablo gave Gassan his blade, Arkenine. Arken, and Arkenine in hands he set off to the Far East Island and gave his friend, the Caesar of Svunnetland at the time, Arken as a gift. Gassan and his followers founded the Chaos Requim, then moved to Atamara and started his family. Arken and Arkenine Arken and Arkenine are twin blades, made upon Chaos' anvil, the same one that shaped this world. While they were twins in appearance, they were infused each with properties of Good and Law, and Evil and Chaos, in order to help maintain the balance of the world. Chaos wielded them both, and when he was slain, the Arch Angel Abracio took up Arken as his own. Diablo grabbed Arkenine as he rose from the battlefield. The swords hold innate powers, unknown mortal beings. Nothing can break these blades, so it was said. In a duel, Senoske, wielder of Arken, beat Nobdy, former wielder of Arkenine, and managed to pierce Arkenine, sealing the evil within. In a strange ritual though, the evil energy was released from Arken by Ziode, who had no idea what he had just done, and found its way back to the shattered blade. Nobdy stumbled on it again and had the blade reforged.
