The warming currents of the ocean bring heat from Kalmar Bay on the East Continent to the otherwise freezing lands of northern Beluaterra. The bay itself is flanked by sheer cliffs to the south near Agyr but rises more gently toward the north. Occasionally ice can be seen floating in the water, though only in the dead of winter. The Golden River or Great Northern River is the second longest waterway in Beluaterra. From its source in the Roof of the World, the river follows a winding, roughly north easterly path before eventually flowing into the sea at the Bay of Souls. Despite the considerable length of the river, it is only bridged in one place, the Fell Crossing between Bil Havil and Lastfell. Agyr, one of the largest cities on the continent, is built on the southern bank of the river mouth. One of the few places where one can ford the Golden River, the Fell Crossing goes down in infamy as the place where the First Invasion began with the death of Pontifex Argos of Melhed at the hands of the Necromancer. Some of the most fertile and protected land in the north, the Emerald Plains have served as a bread basket for human civilization on the continent throughout the turmoil of the invasions. The Roof of the Word or Jedinchel Plateau is a mountain range in the north of Beluaterra. It is a wild and untamed land rumored to hold many secrets and has been the sight of numerous incursions by the inhumans from the other world.

The sandy dunes of the Tahga desert shift and swell much as the sea. Whole camps can be swallowed overnight as the wind sweeps them aside. Even during the ages of peace and plenty none truly mastered the desert and instead clung to the savanna that encircled it. A cursed land of fire and ash, the Zettermain Peninsula was the sight of the fist Daimonic incursion into Beluaterra. The volcano that made up the bulk of the area eventually erupted with such force as to shatter the land irrevocably. Lake Salaman is a large lake in northern Beluaterra, fed by rivers running off the Roof of the World and the Central Range. The cities of Vur Hagin, Vozzessdor and Wudenkin are built around it's shores, as well as numerous smaller towns, which make the area one of the more densely populated parts of the continent. The remains of the ancient Sea of Four Cities, the Twin Isles are under constant assault by the hungry sea. The question is not if the land will be reclaimed, but when. Still there is a stark beauty to it all, the waves crashing on sturdy cliffs and swirling around uneasy beaches. The Sea of Four Cities was located in southern Beluaterra and was named for the four great cities that surrounded the Sea: Fwuvoghor on the north, Enweilieos on the west, Grehk on the south and Rines on the east. Once a hotbed for conflict, the coming of the Blight consumed the fractured lands leaving the Twin Isles of today.
