Unit types

Under types of unit it says "The only exception to this is that mixed infantry is a combination of infantry and archers." This implies to the uninitiated that you can have MI and then draft infantry or archers into the unit. --Kristian 15 August 2005 16:09 (CEST)

Feel free to rewrite it to make it sound better. Or just delete that part. -- Nicholas August 16, 2005 02:07 (CEST)

"Vary"

I'm pretty sure it was correct with "vary", not "varies" -- subject/verb agreement, and all that. Or are the British wrong about that, too? --John 17 August 2005 18:39 (CEST)

heh, you got there about 10 seconds before I did. Yeah, 'ranges vary' or 'range varies' should both be fine, 'ranges varies' however, just looked wrong. --Roy 17 August 2005 18:42 (CEST)
Ranges is wrong both ways. Range varies or Range will vary is proper usage. Different ways same result. --Eric S P 19 August 2005 01:37 (CEST)

This whole conversation is silly. If it's wrong and you know it's wrong, and you know how to fix it, then fix it. And while you're at it, could you add a sentence or two about what happens when you hire archers with different ranges from your current unit? I'm not real clear on that myself. --John 19 August 2005 03:04 (CEST)

John helping people understand things is not silly. If it was this entire thing is a massive waste of time. Actually range is dependent on equip quality. If it is low the range is short if it is high the range is longer. --Eric S P 19 August 2005 05:52 (CEST)
It's silly when people post to the discussion page, but don't change the article itself. It's fine to discuss the change, but it still needs to be made. --John 19 August 2005 15:00 (CEST)

Yes, I depluralised (no that's not a word) the wrong word, oops. It looks good now though. -- Nicholas August 19, 2005 20:25 (CEST)
