As a dragon of Air and Water Raviel was a child of change and much as his elements are constantly in flux so too was the Storm Rager. For a time it is said that the Raviel bound himself within a human form. The couple found happiness together and for many years lived as other mortals do, the entire world was at peace and the clear blue sky was a marvel for all to behold. Eventually the lands grew drier though, as decades went by without sight or sign of rain. This went unnoticed by Raviel however for he was the epitome of the faithful husband and he had eyes only for his beloved, hence the world passed by ignored around him. As all things do the drought came to an end one day, as the ravages of time catch up to us all and upon Raviel's wife's passing he could contain himself no more. All the world trembled in fear as it felt the raging of his storms, Raviel unleashed all the sorrow and fury that he held within his heart beating down on all the world as though he sought to destroy it. Seeking death he poured his pain out into the world and it was only by chance that his gaze returned to earth and there came to rest on the children of his beloved. Out of devotion to his love Raviel used all the courage in his breast to face this world alone for all eternity, so that he could protect her children as he had once protected her. It was for all this that Raviel became known not only as the Storm Rager but also as the Dragon of Fidelity and Courage. |

Origins
The Stormrage Clan traces its lineage far into the shrouded past all the way to the great house's founder, Raviel the Storm Rager, son of the Eastern Guardian the Great Dragon Sairys and the Western Guardian the Great Dragon Nailyon.
