Splendid Ring of Enchanting

Zoe crawls up out of the cave. His surcoat is shredded and bloody, his shield broken, but his face holds a huge grin.

"I'm alive! That was nearly as bad as papa's dungeon!"

He flips the ornate ring he found into the air and admires it glittering in the watery sunlight.

"I wonder what this is?"
