The Society of Stewards is a group of individuals from realms across the Far East who have an interest in realm diplomacy and communication.

Membership is open to everyone, regardless of profession or rank, but there are certain protocols of respect and behavior expected from members.

The reason for this guild's existence is so that its members, from across the realms of the Far East, may find a forum to discuss matters amongst them, specifically matters of diplomacy, though realm politics and matters of importance for the entire continent are welcome.

Members are seen to be equals for the purpose of discussion. Elder members retain the right to halt discussion or to chide members for discussions that are outside of the interest of the guild.

Promotion from Aspirant ranks to full Member rank will be handled by guild elders.

As a member of a guild focused on diplomacy, our members are expected to treat each other with civility and respect. Members will almost certainly disagree over matters, passionately even. When tempers flare and discussion becomes heated, members are reminded to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the guild. Should a member repeatedly refuse to behave in such a manner, their status may be lowered, or they may be removed from the guild entirely.

Though peace is the ultimate victory of diplomacy, war can and will take place between realms. Our members are not required to be advocates for peace, and it can be argued that war is but a tool of diplomacy.
