Promotion in the Church

This is an OOC discussion, since promotion within the religion is largely a choice made by players if/when they feel it is appropriate for their character.

All Aspirants will be promoted to Novice at the earliest possible opportunity.

To become a full member of the Faith, a message (IC or OOC) to the Elders of Sanguis Astroism, should result in promotion to Knight of the Temple.

If you wish your character to be especially devoted to the Faith, then taking the IC oath (see here) in the presence of any Elder of Sanguis Astroism, should result in promotion to Guardian of the Temple.

Please note: Sometimes there is a lot of discussion in the 'full member' channel of the religion. If you want your character to be a full member of the Faith, but find the chatter overwhelming, then just apply to one of the Elders to have your rank set to Knight of the Faith. In character this is considered to be an equal rank to Knight of the Temple, but it's marked as being an aspirant rank in the game's mechanics, so messages sent to 'full members' don't reach it.
