Battle In Meldeen!

A few days ago Tara, launch'd an ill prepared and desperate attack agaisnt the forces of Redspan. They were trying to rid the region of Meldeen of the forces, doing a take over of the region. The Taran forces atatcked without support from their allies in the first battle without help from their help. The result now shows that they will not be able to do any serious damage without the help from CE and Darka. The battle bagan as the sun rose on he morning of 8th March. The Taran attack force marched onto the battle field showing their baners and with realm standards flying. Lister, the General of Tara, Marshal of the army of Foda takes command of the attacker forces. Tony, Duke of Stargard, Marshal of the army of Stargard takes command of the defender forces. The defender are set up in Fortification Defense formation. With the forces assembled, the scouts return to the commanders with their findings. 8157 CS of Taran troops against 13219CS of Redspan and a few Abbington troops. The Tarans open the battle up with archer fire and advanced with their infantry towards the Redspan lines. The archer fire has minimal effect on the Redspan troops defences. 3 eager units from Redspan adavnce to meet 1 unit form Tara, which gets cut down to a man. The main battle line from Tara, meets the Redspan defences in full and the men from the realm that has been under seige for the last couple of weeks, took their revenge out in force. The troops ripped apart the Taran units in next to no time. The warriors showing their true fighting potential. With the main Taran army destroyed, the rest fell back and were cut down. Few managed to escape the vigerous hunting that ensured. During th battle 6 Taran nobles were either wounded or captured and 2 Redspan nobles wounded.

Meldeen back worshipping Da Great Goat

As dusk fell, the local government of Meldeen issued a statement proclaiming that they have broken all diplomatic links with Tara, and will declare their allegiance to Redspan. They have aslso declared that soap will be declared contriband and that all barbers will close so that their beards may grow long.

New Archer Centre Built

Victor, Count of Lurgrod made this anouncement "The people of Lurgrod have sacraficed for the good if the realm, and now they offer the services of the newest recruitment center in the realm. The Lurgrod Ranger Corps are currently training new recruits. They will have a training of 60 %. Weapons quality is 60 % and armour quality is 45 %, their range is 4 rows" These men have volunteered to defend their realm and Da Great Goat. May he smile upon them and his farts interupt their enemies arrows.

New Followers of Da One

Recently we have been having many new Noble joine the ranks of a Redspan warrior. They have sworn an Allegiance to Da One, and to Redspan. They have joined at a great time. With enemies viyng for our blood and a pact between Tara and ASI to carve us up between them, many battles will be fought. I Tony, Duke of Stargard, wish them well with their new found fight, and hope that Da One touches them as he has the rest of us.
