Quickblade Family

The Quickblade family are wool merchants. They import wool for clothes making and sell it on for money. They use this money to pay for their clothes, food, jewellery and other items. Then one day they decided to send one of the family to serve the Cagilan Empire. They chose Hawk who was only five at the time for this purpose. They soon wished they hadn’t. The family are quick to take offence and even quicker to fight a duel. They have never left their island and it seems they have no wish to.

Hawk Quickblade

Hawk is the only member of the family who lives up to the name Quickblade. His education was in reading, writing and counting when he was 5-7 years old. From 7-13 he learned about the thing nobles need to know, how to speak like them, how to ride and how to dance. He also learned how to fight with his blade. From 13-17 he just learned how to fight better and more fiercely. At 17 he left with a group of boys and men who wanted to fight for the Cagilan Empire. It is rumoured he was a gambler.

Scar

Scar is a member of the side of the family that moved across the sea. Some of them reterned after failing to set up a wool industry there. He is older than Hawk and has a scar right across his face. How he got it or his real name he has never told anyone, ever, but some say he was a wool merchant who traveled dangerars routs others say he was a knight, who knows? He is said to do anything for power.
