THE HOUSE OF SCIPII

The House of Scipii was founded by Scipio Severii after he arrived on East Continent at the age of 15. The family had left Atamara after almost all of Scipio's siblings and cousins had been killed in a family duel with the House of Laszulii.

The tragic fued of the two families had gone on for several years, with little or no consequence. One day the 5 oldest sons of the House of Scipii met with 6 of The Laszulii, intent on brokering a truce betweeen the families and ending the conflict that had begun 3 generations earlier. Their talks came to nothing, their swords came to more.

With 3 of the Scipii and 4 of the Laszulii slain the futility of the fued became apparent, and both families knew that to deal was to survive.

Open hostilities ceased and the Scipii moved their home to East Continent, seeking a new life.

: Aulus Severus :

Aulus is the oldest brother, of the oldest set of twins, of the Scipii family. Born a few minutes earlier than Valerius he is determined, yet slightly eccentric, noble - who has stayed serving the realm of his families homeland of Tabost.

Seeming to fit-in to the Fontan society (he always was rather opinionated) of free speech and open debate, Aulus has served her from the on-set, apart from a minor stint in Sirion due to being arrested by Fontan guards at the City of Ashforth. Without being granted an audience to explain he was Fontanese, and that the fact that Tabost had been taken over while he had walked to Ashforth did'nt mean he was now a Sirionite, the young noble found himself transported to Sirion City.

After raising a unit of Elite Elven Archers, he walked back to Ashforth and, after evading capture again, swore alliegance to Duke Elberan Carnes, Minister of Finance, to whom he has served to this day.

: Valerius Severus (aka. Valak 'the Viking') :

Valerius is Aulus' younger twin brother. 'Younger' by only a few seconds, Valerius has always had a problem with being slightly overshadowed by his brother and so went all-out to be the complete opposite to him.

Always a rebel, he was nick-named 'the Viking' by his family, yet it still came as quite a surprise when he left one day and never returned, having announced he had a ferry to Atamara to catch in a few moments so there was no time to say goodbye.

Norland was a world, well .. an ocean, away from Fontan and the stiff trappings of the life he was used to. Valak, the name he chose to adopt, found solace among the Vikings of Norland, enjoying their hearty attitude to life and constant warring, even with each other.

Within a mere first week he had taken part in several epic battles, caused the loss of a Precious Artifact owned by one of Minas Ithil's Marshals, Sir Raziel III Hi-moron (as Valak calls him), been wounded badly and later captured.

As his career has progressed Valak is now SiC to "The Army of Thor's Hammer", and was most notibly present in the 3day-long 'Epic Battle Of Brackhead', wherein he was wounded. 'Notibly present' because he was the first man out of everyone to get hit by an arrow, literally within the first few seconds.

ODDITIES:

• Is a regular victim of the infamous Pancake Thrower of Norland.
• A casual "milk-caine" user, a pseudo narcotic he uses to get over any troubling situation.
• Has a strange ability to enter another dimension, where he often hides from the real world and snorts his milk-caine.
