O'Deaghaidh Family

Who are we?

The O'Deaghaidh Family is from Lanston in Abington. They are Celts and they are proud of their heritage.

The Tartan

The tartan is Blue and Orange and all the men of O'Deaghaidh wear it. There is much pride in the family tartan.

The Family

The head of the family is Patrick O'Deaghaidh. He is 53 years old and has 6 brothers, he is the oldest. Partick is married to Siobhán O'Hlomhair (who is form the noble family O'Hlomhair from Abington), she is 45. Together they had 14 boys, Malachy being the oldest at 25 (Killed in battle), Erin at 21 and Seamus at 18, Amish at 17, Niall at 16, Ruaraidh at 15, Dónal at 14, Liam and Beircheart at 13 twins, Dáivi at 11, Adhamh at 10, Dylan at 7, Cian at 6, Tomás at 4.

Malachy

Malachy is 25 years old; he is 6'2 and around 150 pounds. He has short red hair he is also clean shaven and has green eyes. He wears the family Tartan and a leather chest piece for armor, he fights with a dirk and a small round shield. He has no wife or kids and he is a quiet man. He currently lives on the East Continent and is a Hero of the realm Avamar Selective. He was wounded at the battle of Stora, he was struck by an arrow. It hit him in the chest, luckily he survived. He is currently fighting in the Last Stand of Kalmar city. During one of the siege attempts Malachy was pushed from the wall of Kalmar during the battle. He fell, luckily into mud but he was still injured. He remained unconscious for the remainder of the siege. He has recovered but his unit was destroyed. Malachy recruited a hand full of peasents to fight in the remaining days of the siege. The brave peasents he recruited were all killed in the last day of the siege and Malachy was seriously wounded. He was stabbed in the stomach. When he awoke he found the walls of Kalmar still intact. What was left of the Avamar Selective army fought off the enemy army. They survived. Malachy Survived. Malachy recruited knights templars and participated in an attack on the retreating siege army. They were victorious but Malachy was killed in battle.

Erin

Erin is 21 years old, he is a massive man. He is 6'8 and around 200 pounds. He has long wild red hair and a long red beard. He has green eyes. He has tattoos of his family's art all over his arms, chest and back. He wears his family's Tartan like always with a nice shirt when he is in the city but when he is in battle he fights in the nude. He believes it makes him faster and more intimidating. He fights with a large two handed claymore sword. He is a friendly man but quick to a fight. He almost seems indifferent to most situations. He often jokes about up coming battles and other important events. He lives on Beluaterra and is a Hero of Heen. When Erin was 13 he married, when he was 15 he had a son. He named his son named Concobhar he is currently 6 years old and just like his father. Erin's wife is named Caitlín Ni Dhéaghaidh (O'hIomhair Originally) she is 21.

He recently fought a battle with a fellow knight against vicious Monsters. He nearly lost his life to the monster, he was knocked unconscious. Before the monster could devour him, a brave and loyal soldier of his pulled him away from the fighting and brought him to safety. When he awoke he found himself behind enemy lines and without a unit except for the one soldier that saved his life. Erin began heading back to Heen when a band of Rogues attacked him. Erin's last soldier was killed at the hands of the rogues. Erin himself was captured and thrown into a dungeon. Erin wasn't there long before he managed to escape. He eventually made it back to Heen.

Erin and many of his fellow nobles captured sotrebar. They endured constant attacks from Vice and angry peasents. Erin and his fellow nobles slayed over 400 peasents in this take over. They also killed over 150 Undead Vice Soldiers. In the end Erin had to leave and to pay his men. Heen lost Sotrebar a few days later.

While in Heen Erin's brother Seamus arrived in Heen from Abington. They both left with the army of Heen and attacked Kif. They took over Kif with in a week. Scion the Skilled, King of Heen appointed Erin as Kif's Lord. Erin is now known as Lord Erin.

Seamus

Seamus is 18 years old, he is 6'4 and 160 pounds. He has a shaved head but his hair, when grown out is brown. He hasn't grown old enough yet to have full facial hair. His eyes are brown too. He wears the family tartan and an Iron Chain Cuirass. He fights with a small axe and a small dagger. Seamus has a wife named Eimile O'hIomhairand 1 son named Lorcán who is 3 years old. Seamus married at the age of 15. Seamus loves his life and Country. He serves as a Hero of Abington on Atamara. He lives in Lanston with his family when not away at war. He has been through War on a high scale. He survived the invasion which Abington was unsafe for everyone since enemys were everywhere. After the war he attended many tournaments. He didn't win any but it gained him honor. He toured Abington for awhile raising moral of the peasents. Seamus left Abington to help his brother in Heen. He will return someday to Abington. For it is his home and country.

Seamus arrived in Heen and immediatly helped in a attack on Latlan. The attack failed. Seamus left from there to Kif to help his brother in a takeover of Kif. Kif was taken with ease. Erin was appointed Lord of Kif and knighted Seamus. Seamus now serves under his brother, Lord Erin.

Family Estate

O'Deaghaidh Estate consists of 68 square miles of land. It runs along the ocean shore. O'Deaghaidh lands produce Potatoes. The estate also has a small harbor with 15 fishing boats. The estate also collects fish for the people of Abington. The Manor in which the O'Deaghaidh reside is not all that big, its just for the family. The servants have their own house, it is actually larger then the family's manor. Over 300 servants work the O'Deaghaidh estate.

O'Hlomhair Family Ties

Patrick O'Deaghaidh is married to Siobhán O'Hlomhair. Siobhán is from the Noble family O'Hlomhair.
