Perhaps feeling a little self-conscious about his commoner background, and trying to distance himself from it, the founder Corwyn chose a rampant pegasus as the primary motif. Heraldry
It is perhaps ironic then that the Ni'Tessine heraldry does not feature a boar. Perhaps feeling a little self-conscious about his commoner background, and trying to distance himself from it, the founder Corwyn chose a rampant pegasus as the primary motif. No doubt he felt it was more majestic and regal than a boar.
