The Visit (Part VII)

The sweet perfum was all arrownd the environment. Eilien was hugging her father when her mother aproches them. They were a family, they looked like one. A beautifull mother and a beautifull daughter becoming the "Dragonesses". The young countess was happy. She never had that kind of experience before. The experience of having a father. The experience of beeing the swetest child of his, and the Dearest of her. Under her fathers arms, she was a little girl under his powerfull protection. He was old, but still strong at the eye and the touch.

Erik Eyolf: “My emeralds. My dragonesses. It’s a pleasure to see mother and daughter at my side, under my wings.”

Marion aproches them and with a soft kiss on his lips says hello to him. The young countess looks gladly the scene, under her fathers embrance, wile his touching her hair. He knows they are his women. The gift comes out, and its more than obvius that it was made for him. Soft movement cuting the infinite, killing invisible enemys. After some minutes he invites them to a family walk.

Erik Eyolf: "Let me wear something. I'll show you the Ivory Tower and wonderful gardens and squares."

The dragon leaves his dragonesses for a moment. There is a minute of silence between them.

Marion: You look happy, my Dear. Eilien: I am, mum.

After some minutes, Erik gets into the hall and invites them to follow him. He is the lord of Avamar, and he moves like it. Erik Eyolf Serpentis takes Lady Marion's hand and walks with her and theire daughter throw the wonderfull gardens of the Ivory Tower. The place embrace them with a such a beauty that is imposible not to feel it.

Eilien: Mum, isn't that impressive? Marion: Yes, my dear. It is.

Erik smiles a bit.

Eilien: You know what? I think you are good on this. I mean, on beeing weird. other wise you couldn't have done this. Is really beautifull...

After she says that, she runs to a massive fountaine with the most beautifull sculpture of a dragon with it wings opened, ready to fly. The father and the mother walks behind watching her happy. Marion starts singing a quiet and tender song, in a foreing language, an old tongue that sounds familiar. The song is just for the two of them.

"Meu coraçao nao se cança De ter esperança de um dia ser todo o que quer... ...sem dizer adeus e fez dos olhos meus Um chorar mais sem fim Meu coraçao vagabundo Quer guardar u mundo em mim"

She touches his face and kiss him, so soft on his lips that leaves a sweet breath for him to ramember.

Marion: I 'm leaving now. The couple of hours had past, and I have things to do. I will not tell you to take care of her, because I know you will.

Eilien sees her mother saying goodbye and, playing in the fountain like a child, moves her hand in the air. She looks at her mother leaving them, and with a tinny smile, how his father follows her with his eyes.
