Rights as a Noble

1. All troopleaders have the right to a fair trial if charges are laid against them. In the same vein, all troopleaders have the right to know the charges against them.

2. For trials of a banning offence all troopleaders will have the opportunity to explain themselves to both the judge and ruler for forgiveness.

3. All troopleaders have the right to speak freely. (Try your best to keep your criticism constructive)

4. No troop leader is to be punished for the crimes of their family, (without direct involvement)

5. All troopleaders have the right to know all evidence used in the trial of a convicted person.

Doctrine of Duty

1. All troopleaders are to help their fellows as best they can, or direct questions to others more knowledgeable.

2. All troopleaders are to behave in a civil manner towards their peers, and respect the Melhed way.

3. All troopleaders are to do their best to follow orders issued unless they infringe on a right. This means following orders as soon as possible, or informing others if you cannot and or will not follow orders. Remember we are not mind readers so explain your actions.

1. Verbal warning

2. Fine

3. Asked to leave the realm

Election rules:
After an election is called for the position of region lord, banker, general or marshall, interested nobles have 48 hours to declare their candidacy (NB: Aldo is always a candidate). After this period, votes may be sent to the realm at large or the Judge.

Regions require lords, once there is a need, the judge will call for candidates, once the candidates have declared interest, then the realm will have to vote (Assuming more candidates than regions available exits), either publicly in message, or by contacting the judge directly. Anyone who is not currently a lord can run, but only existing Lords can run for Duke of a City region.
