The career of Arminius Martius began humbly, as a bureaucrat of Alowca. Feeling restless after years of pushing papers, he was tricked into rebelling against Xerxes, the current Pontifex of Alowca. For this, he was banned from Alowca. Leaving his homeland, he wandered north and is serving as a knight of Giblot.
