About the Lurian Herald
Day 3 of Winter, Year 48

The Lurian Herald is the successor to many of Dwilight's previous newspapers - the Poryatown Press and the Dwilight Daily to name a few. For a long time, Dwilight has been without reliable and widespread news and so the House of Medici has taken up this task to serve our great continent. We do seek writers of all walks of lives and of all biases to write for the Lurian Herald. The newspaper itself is not strictly loyal to Luria, but its name comes from being based at the heart of Lurian lands, Giask. If you hold any interest, write to Alessio de Medici, and we shall bring you into the fold.

The Lurian Herald will be comprised of many forms of news - discussed in these pages will be philosophy, history, religion, politics, warfare, hobbies of the Highborn, anonymous advice, advertisements for taverns and academies and even those sent in by the readers of the Lurian Herald. Such advertisements are all free - the Lurian Herald is entirely funded by the House of Medici - we spare no expense.

Since his ascendance to the Imperial Throne of Luria, his daugher, Lena de Medici has taken charge of the Lurian Herald.

Emperor of Luria
Politics - by Lena de Medici

The original director of the Lurian Herald, Alessio de Medici, has since become Dux of Luria Ferrata, and the Suzerain Emperor of the Lurian Empire. In such short time, he has brought the Republic of Swordfell into the Empire, welcoming them as a full equal to the two Lurian realms. The Empire has already began to grow under him and will surely continue rising under his great and wise reign.

With the resignation of King Cador of Sky Hall, King Donald was named his heir and has since become its King. Similarly, Staedtler has become King of Sun Hall with the now Queen-Mother Luarin stepping back into the city of Shinnen alone.

The Zuma
Politics - by Lena de Medici

The Zuma Tribes have awaken from their rest. Representing humanity, Suzerain Emperor Alessio of the Lurian Empire, Zlatko Mersault of Westgard, and Pawl Paxwax of D'Hara risk everything in their visit. No matter the outcome of their visit, may this once in a lifetime opportunity be marked on every calendar.

Giask Renovations
Politics - by Lena de Medici

Our great Emperor has been an aspiring architect for much of his life, and has already left a mark on two cities in our great Empire, namely the city of Shinnen, though more recently the capital of the Empire (and the true capital of Dwilight),Giask [[1]]. May these changes touch all faces of our continent and the wider world.
