Family and Clan History</u

The Lupercal family originates from Perdan city on the East Continent. Internally, the family refers to itself as the "The Lupercalian Clan," and is in fact made up of several minor noblity families joined together through a complex web of marriage and bloodlines. Emerging from the obscurity of the minor nobility; the Lupercalians began their debut with the Knight, Sir Lokal Lupercal. However, the hopes of the Lupercalians were dashed when Perdan lost it's war against Caligus and Ibladesh. The clan turned on the young knight and his immediate family members, blaming them personally for the clan's loss. The internal power struggle between the various minor nobles that made up the Lupercalians resulted in the breakup of the clan as a unified Perdan centered unit. Sir Jagged Lupercal travelled with a small party of Lupercalians to the Caligan Empire, but he was killed at the young age of 18 by an accident involving his horse.

A larger part of the clan sold their lands and travelled to Dwilight to buy cheaper land in Caerwyn. During this period the Lupercalians in Caerwyn prospered and Sir Graviel became the head of the clan in Caerwyn. The Dwilight Lupercalians were considered the most successful branch of the clan, with Sir Graviel becoming the High Magistrate and a Viscount. The younger brother of Graviel, Lucius Lupercal, was also raised and sent to Atmara during this time.
Lucius was sent primarily to reconnect with the Atmaran Lupercalians and reforge the clan unity. Lucius entered the Caligan Empire seeking Sir Jagged and the Atmaran Lupercalians; but found to his surprise that Sir Jagged was dead and the Atmara Lupercalians leaderless. Immediately, marrying Sir Jagged's sister, the young Lucius became a leader of the Atmara Lupercalians and serves in the Caligan Empire to this day.

Things had not gone well in Caerwyn in the meantime and the success of Graviel in the politics of Caerwyn was not mirrored in Caerwyn's fortunes during the war. Graviel rose to become the Archon of Caerwyn and organized the Caerwynian emigration to Madina. All of Dwilight Lupercalians rests with Graviel, and he maintains total control over this branch of the clan.

Individual members history -

Sir Lokal Lupercal - Beluaterra Faction</u

Disgraced in the eyes of many of the Lupercalian clan, Sir Lokal emigrated to Beluaterra to regain his lost honor. Serving with Avalon against the vast monster armies of the fourth invasion. Lokal was eventually killed as a hero defending Avalon's capital from a vast horde of monsters. As far as it is known to the rest of the clan, all Lupercalians in Beluaterra died with Sir Lokal in Avalon.

Sir Jagged Lupercal - Atmara Faction</u

Hoping to profit from the great war that the Cagilian Empire fought against it's enemies, Sir Jagged and some of his fellow Lupercalians abandoned Perdan for Atmara. Sir Jagged's faction of the Lupercalians was tragically cut short returning from a battle in the Barony of Makar, when his horse threw him off a cliff.
