As requested by Lord Hannibal, Avatar of Light, I have studied the inscriptions in his report and made notes on the reports...well, here they are.

p.s. Those dotted notes are my own thoughts and "suggestions"

Part 1

- Temple of Light is built on the site (or ruins)* of an ancient civilization

-> Hannibal's brother, Hasdrubal discovered the place
not long ago which is a "hole" in the ground)
-> A mysterious force keeps pulling Hannibal back to the
site after he first studied it (as if someone or
   something is calling for help)

Part 2

- Hannibal's own troops were acting "suspicious" when he went down the "hole" to investigate (as if they seem to know something he doesn't) - The first room is about 10m high and 20m wide in a pyramidal shape

-> As if he came down through the top of a pyramid

- There are paintings on the walls depicting humans fighting monsters -Hannibal left after his first good look on the walls

Part 3

- Hannibal kept his finds secret from the rest of the world (for now) - Hannibal went back and set up a more permanent "base of operations" at the centre of the first room - There seemed to be no damage done to the paintings or artifacts in the room regardless of the age of the place - There are pictures of people fighting monsters from other worlds

Part 4

North Wall: A book shelf with 10 books written in an unknown script
similar to our own ancient language
East Wall: 10 swords pointing towards the North Wall
West Wall: 10 axes pointing towards the North Wall
South Wall: 10 bows pointing towards the North Wall
  • At this point, I would like to say that I'm pretty confused...how can the 10 bows on the south wall be pointing towards the north unless they are hanging from the wall (or ceiling)?

- The paintings on the walls seem to portray a story

Part 5

- Hannibal is starting to get "possessed" by the place (pyramid) - Asdrubal is starting to think his brother is insane - The pictures at the bottom seemed to be much smaller at the bottom than on the top so the viewer can get a good look without the need to climb to the top - The paintings on the walls seemed to be created with technology much more advanced than ours - The whole pyramid seemed to possess a warm feeling (heat)

Part 6

- The entire bottom row of the North wall depicts a huge battle - The painting seemed to be extremely realistic - Thousands of men on one side of the painting is getting ready to charge at those (a much smaller force) on the other side, who are in a fortress (the fortress in under seige)

-> There is water on the other side of the fortress
-> The men all wore similar armour and had similar expressions on their
   face
-> The flags and many of the seige engines are unknown

Part 7

- The next picture, depicting the charge, is on the East wall - The setting sun cast a shadow on the soldiers and it seemed as if they are being cursed - There are markings (possibly speech bubbles) next to some of the knights - From the pictures in the battle, Hannibal now realized that this is a civil war - The picture on the South wall shows the aftermath - The sky is black and many people were slain - The civil war had been won by the attackers but it seems that there was no victory (in its place, a great despair) - The battle made Hannibal think of the civil war in Avamar - The East wall showed the dead being buried in massive graves and that the place is still dark and the people distraught (as if they are all going to suffer a horrible fate) - The soldiers are being rallied again for battle against some foreign forces - People originally from the fortress are marching away from the scene (they are already very far from it)
