A wretched hive of scum and villainy, at lest as far as the other clans are concerned. Curu'Alak has been known to cheat, steal, lie, bribe, kidnap, extort, and fight to achieve it's goals. Curu'Alak is almost run more like an organized crime family then a anything else.

which definitely sets it apart from the other clans, or any other known family. Curu'Alak also have a subtable amount of control in the underworld. the clan goal is not to conquer the Continent of Atamara, but to own it. dealing even in blackmarket trade among other things.

they are the smallest of the clans of the tribe of the Khans, thus likely explains why the run in more gorilla warfare then direct conflict. they have mastered the art of the assassin and are arguably the greatest on the island when it comes to stealth and subterfuge.

they offer their skills to any who have coin and can offered their fee. they take jobs from all over Atamara juggling between many master but always staying at a natural stance. playing the many underground groups against one another, weakening them then Curu'Alak slowly comes in and eventually takes control.

essentially making them their puppets.

their main base is in Chocxal, but they have branched out to many places, even setting up guild houses in Eaglin and Cagil. Curu'Alak are a notorious order of killers who hail from the deserts of Talerium, who are infamous for their brutal efficiency at doing away with people, regardless of their station or security. When Curu'Alak choose to set up a chapter house in a city, it is a true testimony to the grim cunning and determination of the young men emerging from the streets. they have always been skilled assassins dedicated to stealth, and murder.

Notable members of Curu'Alak:

Batu Khan

Fighting Styles

The Curu’Alak has perfected a number of fighting styles throughout their time each broken down into “dances”. The Curu’Alak have made this fighting’s styles even more deadly thanks to the level of discipline and strength of mind they have mastered. Thought meditation and mental discipline, the clan has learned of seven gates of the body known as the “seven steps to Animus” or the “Animas”. These gates are said to hold the true inner strength of an individual, that by unlocking these gates they can bring their true 100% to whatever task they encounter.

In essence each gate once ‘opened’ unlocks a certain compatibility such as increased speed, agility, heightened awareness, and strength. The clan believes that one only uses a portion of their mind, and by training their psyche they gain the ability to unlock these Animus gates.

The seven Animus gates are Shaja'a, Mentem, Curro, Agilis, Wahrnehmung, Subtilitas, and Vermögen. The knowledge of unlocking the last gate, which is the power of all the other six simultaneously, has been lost.

the six knowen Dances:

Wild-Dance: this fighting style discipline like most of the other dances, almost definitely requires two weapons in each hand. this fighting style also works best when out numbered, one is continually in motion never pausing for a second.

Using confusing tricks and stylus manoeuvres to throw your opponents of guard, attacking the mob as a “whole” whether then one individual attacker at a time. --- (unlocks the gate of agility, Agilis)

Whirlwind: another fighting style for tempest warriors (people who fight with weapons in each hand), or a fighter that uses a pole arm weapon. As the name suggests, it is a fighting style that keep the person in constant motion much like wild dance, but can be focused more on one or two opponents.

There is much spins, strikes, and, dodging in this discipline, a master of this discipline who has acquired the mental discipline needed can call up wind with the their manoeuvres as well. –-- (unlocks the gate of increased strength, Shaja'a)

Dust devil: one of my favourites, this discipline does not requires two blades but they do help, or at least a pole arm weapon, This fighting style is like whirlwind but much slower and less powerful strikes, and are in fact slower.

This requires the most mental discipline, once learned the portiere of this skill can literarily cause the dust and dirt or whatever happens to be laying around in small quantities to fly of the ground with each I of their spins and strikes.

And a ridicule 360* spine will cause dirt to fly off and temporally blind his attackers. This is some time called the sandflingerdance, but only because there is mostly sand were the Curu’Alak live, but it is not limited to sand, anything from small stones, dirt, gravel, or even snow. --- (unlocks the mental gate, Mentem)

Blood letter: this discipline is the lest damage incurring yet one of the most deadliest fighting styles. This fighting style is all about targeting your opponent’s vital spots and points with small precision strikes. Even if the user is just armed with a dagger they can inflict grieving wounds on their opponents.

The attack are not always deadly right away, but over time will most defiantly cause death if not treated, they sting but are not always painful but cause bleed out damage over time.--- (unlocks the gate of precision, Subtilitas)

Broken camel: as foolish as it may sound it is actually legitimate fighting style and is quit deadly. It can be used armed or unarmed, and is quite unique.

First it is much like drunken boxing, and is best used against a very offensive opponent/opponents. It involves mostly counters and dodging, with simple yet graceful, (and to the untrained eye foolish looking), movements. --- (unlocks the gate of awareness, Wahrnehmung)

Shadowdance: This discipline is quite unique at the moment, Shadowdancers draw upon the power of the shadows to become a bit like a "super rogue" in that their ability to hide is very potent. As a shadowdancer becomes more experienced, he can command the shadows to do his bidding.

This art is perfect for assassins, in battle one can move so fat as to leave a ‘shadow’ image behind, which can fool dim minded monsters and even a skill warrior in the heat of combat. When hit thought weapon will just go though them like they were a shade or ghost, they also fad away slowly, depending on the persons skill at the dance.--- (unlocks the gate of Speed, Curro)
