Funeral of Hero Waylander

Lady Gwynyth sits the whole day by the window in her room in Domus Castle, talking to nobody, just looking at the garden and the trees around the grave of Eagles Reach.

Next to it there is a new grave, prepared for another of Con Doin. Gwynyth observed the servants working at the graves and thought of how unfair her life turned to be, death again, and no life to be born. The only new life she had once given to the world was immediately taken away from her and in secrecy buried in the unknown location.
Her heart never stopped bleeding recalling it.

News on First of April

A servant rushed to Lady Gwynyth's room.

- M'lady, m'lady, a new knight arrived to Caligus. He claims to be your son!

- What?! - Gwynyth rised, eyes shining with hope, then turned angry - You April's Fool! Out of my sight! Out!

Night

It was very late in the night, but Lady Gwynyth could not sleep. The thoughts about her lost baby haunted her whenever she closed the eyes and the news about this young Parmenion were not helping. She must know the truth.

In silence, for to not wake up the servants, she dressed quickly up with some dark simple clothes, planing a list in mind to whom to pay such a sudden visit and in what order. Yet sword, black coat, soft shoes to move quietly, a lampion with a candle. She will learn the truth, one way or another. O, yes... or another....

She moves back to take the daggers and hides them in the sleeves. Then she sneakes out from the room and from the castle.

First, Mathis.....

In Father Mathis' Home

(This part comes from Mathis' RP)
"There was a knock at Mathis door.

"You may come in." Mathis announced, without looking up from his writing. He heard the door open and close, and looked up. No servant would have immediately closed the door.

A woman stood there, wearing a black coat, with a simple dark dress under it. Mathis knew her face, recognizing her despite the attire. He rose as quickly as he good, and stepped away from his desk. He bowed, sweeping quite low.

"My Lady Duchess. I apologize, I did not expect anyone at such a late hour."

Mathis hurried across the room and pulled over a chair, a simple thing it was as was almost all the furniture in the temple. "Here sit My Lady, if you wish I could call a servant for something to drink. What brings you here at such an hour." Mathis' words came at a rush."
(End of Mathis' part)

Lady Gwynyth looked around the almost empty room of Mathis, then sat down on the only chair and looked straight to Mathis' eyes, without the usual smile :

- Thank you Father Mathis and I am sorry for this sudden visit, but I am sure you know why I came here. I do not want to waste yours and my time with the polite diplomacy and I requests the straight answers. I must know the truth about Parmenion and I must know why the Order has kept it in secret from me, the elder member of the Order, and for so long time.

(This part comes from another Mathis' RP)
"Mathis began pacing as he spoke.

"My Lady, it was not something known of the order, I believe I was the only one Waylander told. Some time ago, a boy just short of manhood showed up at my estate in Aestus. He told me he was a friend of Waylander's, and had been sent by him there. I had no reason not to believe him. He asked me to teach him how to commune with the Hall so that he may speak with his father. I can't remember if the letter from Brother Waylander came after the young man arrived, or at the same time, but it told me the boy was his nephew. I also has no reason not to believe him. I thought that his father must be Eagles Reach, but made no connection that that would also make him your son. I tutored the young boy for some time before he moved on else where. It seems he has decided to declare his full nobility in Caligus now."

Mathis turned and looked at the duchess.

"My lady, I apologize that I do not know more. Please do not be upset with the order, I am sure none knew besides myself and Brother Waylander. As far as the truth, you now know all I know.""
(End of Mathis' part)

.... It was not much - thought Lady Gwynyth when leaving the home of Mathis -
Revelation would tell me more, but he is still away...

Waiting is a waste of time. Until Revelation's return, she may learn the truth more directly. She entered the main temple of Sanctus Acies in Domus, empty at that time. Nobody saw her, nobody knew what she was doing there so long time, and nobody recognized her the next morning when she walked out of the temple in the pilgrim clothes, long cloak with hood, the pilgrim stick in hand.

Nobody disturbed her as she walked out to the western gates of Domus...

In Winkamus

It was a nice warm and very sunny day. The young man returned from the capital and approached his new home in Winkamus. The springtime sunlight blinded him, so when he entered the house, he could see nothing in the dark shadow inside.

He walked in, checking the way blindly by hand, the eyes adapting slowly to the shadow. He didn't know this house well yet and he was muttering something bad when faltering against the fourniture.

Suddenly, the shadow has surrounded him. Hit to the stomac, he bended grasping for air, the left hand twisted to back painfully, forced to rise and stretch back, he felt something cold by the throat. The eyes adapted quickly to the darkness noticed the mirror on the opposite wall, his face reflecting, eyes wide open of scare and a pale hand with a dagger by his throat.

- Who are you? - he heard the whisper near his ear.
- Parmienion - he tried to reply and keep calm - Parmenion Kazan...
- I know your name! - impatient voice rised, accompanied by the stronger twist of his left hand, he had to scream out of sudden pain - But who are you, in real?
