It certainly seemed like a regular job when he had got it. Runaway daughter, worried family. Takes you some time to find her, she may even put up a bit of a fight, but the always come along. This one was different, however. He had searched through quite a bit of Beluaturra trying to find her, and he had so far been unsuccessful. He was not one to brag, or exaggerate his own skills, but a runaway usually did not pose a problem to him. This girl likely had skills. And was thus most likely far away by now.
Unfortunately for him, he was stranded here until he acquired some money, as he had not prepared for a chase that would have been longer than a few weeks. On the other hand, there was plenty of monsters in the region. So for once, he would have to do some hard work. Strangely, he was looking forward to it. It had been a while since he had seen blood.
