When we have a concern or question for the Kami, sometimes it is not enough to wait paitently for them to come to us. At times, we must go to them. While this does not necessarily need to involve physical travel, many believers feel their personal or household shrines are inadequate when dealing with significantly important matters.
(Does it really need to be said that the meta-data that follows is all Out-of-game information, and using it in the game is not only lame, but considered cheating by some players? Well, I just said it, regardless.)
