Tenants of Cordatus Bestiarium

Reason is the highest virtue, we must subjugate our desires to our reason.

Order is the governing power of our world, and its power can be seen through reason.

The Zuma exist in both our world and the other. Their reason is superior to ours and their knowledge of order is far greater.

True understanding and the greatest reason is found only in the Zuma, and we must seek out the Zuma and their teachings.

The Zuma have the power to bless humans with inhuman sight and wisdom. The Zuma Mark is the outward manifestation of this gift, and the blessed have greater understanding and reason than any of the unblessed.

Those that bare the mark of the Zuma command greater power in our world, and deserve the power that should accompany their greater understanding and reason.

Our religion is founded out of the pursuit of knowledge and truth. In my many travels I have come across different people and creatures, I have spoken with the kings of men, lords of monsters, the sorcerers of undead, and the rulers of the Daimons. This all happened during my time on the now decimated island and as I spoke with them they seemed nothing more than powerful humans with that same mundane fascination with conquest and war, the bodies of the majestic but the mind of a child.

But when I first met the Daimon of Dwilight, the rulers of the Zuma, I witnessed something far surpassing those other beings those fallacious deities. For their wisdom surpassed the vain knowledge of their counterparts, and their concerns were not on the decimation of mankind. These beings know something I do not, we do not. And that pursuit of that knowledge, that truth is what we pursue through reason, worship, and interaction with these daimon. For all my time in this world I have never come across beasts so prudent, they live forever and know far more than we could ever imagine. They are the Cordatus Bestiarium, the wise beasts.

I see you speak out of ignorance of the Daimon and the Zuma so I shall share what you do not know. To our south, from Gryphen Mire to Overroot the Daimon rule the land. The Daimon are mysterious beings, timeless in essence, and dual in nature. Their existance is both within our physical world and that of the netherworld. They are the messengers and the truth bearers.We lay no claim to their lands, for to claim them would be suicide beyond your average imbecile. We alone among all human realms have formed a bond of friendship with these creatures.

I said they are the bearers of truth, and it is becoming clear that they are also the bearers of fate. For it is being revealed that the Zuma are the craftsman of human history.
