| − | One day the wisest man in Dwilight was asked if he held the greatest understanding of all men. "Understanding I have in abundance, a wisdom greater than any other." he stated, but a voice from heaven came to him saying "Although wise you are, understanding is further than you can ever imagine. One has greater understanding than you but you have not the patience to understand." He asked the voice where he could find this man and it replied, "Where the bloodmoon fruit falls, a sparrow will be calling. Follow the sparrow and a days walk from where he drops the bloodmoon seed you will find Didericus." The wise man traveled to the Bloodmoon grove and followed the sparrow as it flew, he walked a day from where the seed fell and there sat Didericus. "Oh wise and understanding Didericus, teach me understand." the man asked, but Didericus told him that patience needed the man had not. Three times the man asked, and the third Didericus relented all the while he warned of the mans lack of patience.

| − | They walked to the waters edge where a small fishing party was pulling in their nets and Didericus asked for a few fish from the mornings catch, the fishermen gave freely and the two ate well. After they had eaten their fill Didericus tore the fishermen's net into four pieces and cut the ships mast in two. "Why have you done this to those who have helped us?" the wise man asked. "Did I not warn you your of your lack of patience? You will never gain understanding." Didericus replied. The wise man apologized three times, then Didericus allowed him to continue on the journey.

| − | They walked into a nearby town where four young boys were playing. Didericus stretched out his hand seizing one of the boys by the hair and with one swift motion he breaks the young boys neck. The wise man was infuriated by this action and asking why Didericus would kill an innocent young boy. "You lack understanding and if you fail to be patient you will never learn it." Again the wise man apologized three times, and Didericus allowed him to continue.

| − | Didericus and the wise man the came upon a city that had just closed its gates and Didericus asked the guards if they would let them in for the night. The guards refused to open the gate and the two men began walking around the walls. They came to a spot where the wall was damaged, and one could easily make his way through. Didericus took the gold from his purse and placed it inside the wall and then repaired the whole. The wise man asked, "Why have you done this for a town that refused us?" and Didericus replied, "I told you that you would not understand, and your patience would not be long enough to give you understanding." Again the wise man apologized three times, but Didericus replied, "You do not understand nor shall you ever. This is where we part ways."

Tenants of Cordatus Bestiarium
Reason is the highest virtue, we must subjugate our desires to our reason.
Order is the governing power of our world, and its power can be seen through reason.
The Zuma exist in both our world and the other. Their reason is superior to ours and their knowledge of order is far greater.
True understanding and the greatest reason is found only in the Zuma, and we must seek out the Zuma and their teachings.
The Zuma have the power to bless humans with inhuman sight and wisdom. The Zuma Mark is the outward manifestation of this gift, and the blessed have greater understanding and reason than any of the unblessed.
Those that bare the mark of the Zuma command greater power in our world, and deserve the power that should accompany their greater understanding and reason.
